Project GUTS/Supercomputing Challenge Summer Roundup
Thanks to a Google Rise Award, we are holding this first annual Summer Roundup across the state. Eight roundups are in Alamogordo, Artesia, Farmington, Melrose, Penasco, Quemado, Las Vegas, and Socorro. We are attempting to roundup new sites and bring them into our learning community, either as GUTS after school clubs or Challenge teams. We are hoping that many of the teachers would like to attend our Summer Teacher Institute
Goals- Students enjoy programming and want to do more.
- Teachers gain a basic understanding of the two languages (StarLogo TNG and NetLogo).
- Teachers receive information on how to either sponsor a Challenge team or be a GUTS club leader.
