New Mexico Supercomputing Challenge

Star Energy

Team: 74

School: Mesa Mid

Area of Science: Astronomy/ energy

Interim:

Project Definition: My partner and I are wanting to make a model of a star use to make pure clean energy to fuel the world. The best part is it will last about 40,000,000 years.

Problem: The problem is that we do not have pure energy. Our energy is burning things and releasing smoke in the air, which is a problem for the Earth.

Solution: Our solution would be pure clean energy that the whole world could use and it will help with world peace too. We were planning to launch the star back in space in mid-adult hood.

Progress to date: We found out what stars are made of combinations of elements and just normal elements like helium.

Expected results: Our expected results are trying to dig a hole to the core of the star and a devise to go to the core and get the energy.
